World Class
It’s been one of our most difficult tasks finding the best location possible for the birth of Magic-Con, however, after months of research, planning and negotiating, we’ve decided. We couldn’t have asked for a more appropriate place either. Not only is it a brand new world class hotel with state of the art features, restaurants, and a Starbucks, it’s right on the San Diego Bay with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean.
We went into this knowing we could not settle for second best, so we didn’t. The San Diego Bayfront is a beautiful hotel and perfect for Magic-Con. We have reserved enough meeting and event space for all our wildest dreams and can’t wait for them to come true in 2010. We know the Bayfront will not only provide the comfort and luxury of a 5 star hotel, but outstanding service and attention to our high expectations of quality.
For us, it wasn’t about choosing the most economical venue. As visionaries, we have a responsibility to enhance the way magic is perceived, and this is only one minor step we are taking. We also couldn’t imagine anything less for the caliber of magicians and speakers coming to share their experience and intellect. We know everyone of you who attends will admire our approach to detail and we can’t wait to see you there.
