John George
John George is a full-time professional magician based in southern California. He specializes in both close-up magic and mentalism.
He has performed for numerous celebrities including, Francis Ford Coppola, Nicholas Cage and Sir Paul McCartney. He performs regularly at both the Magic Castle and Disneyland.
John George has won virtually every major close-up competition in the United States, including a first place at the “International Brotherhood of Magicians Gold Cups Competition” and the “Society of American Magicians (S.A.M.) Close-up Competition”. In addition, he has received the Silver Medal of Merit from the S.A.M., awarded only a handful of times in its prestigious history. The S.A.M has also honored John with the Peoples Choice Award.
He met Tyson Mao and Chris Dzoan at Rubik’s cube competitions where they became friends and have since performed together on numerous occasions.
